EMS Champion Post Algeria, a pioneer and leader in e-commerce delivery, celebrated on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, the pilot launch of its new parcel locker solution “EMS Champion Smartbox” across four (04) wilayas: Algiers, Oran, Sétif, and Ghardaïa.

The “EMS Champion Smartbox” are secure, self-service parcel lockers designed for receiving and sending parcels 24/7, with the aim of facilitating access for consumers. These automated lockers are increasingly popular in the e-commerce logistics sector, as they offer a practical, flexible, secure, and cost-effective solution for parcel delivery.

With this launch, EMS Algérie introduces a new-generation parcel locker system specifically designed for urban environments, shopping centers, AADL residential complexes, railway stations, airports, transport hubs, and self-service areas of Algérie Poste. The installation of the first EMS Champion Smartbox” units in the new AADL city of Sidi Abdellah marks a significant milestone in the expansion of smart parcel infrastructure in Algeria.

The new “EMS Champion Smartbox” solution, developed through a collaboration between EMS Algérie and a young Algerian startup—using 100% Algerian labor and materials—focuses on:

– High user-friendliness and proximity for end users

– Efficient and streamlined parcel processing

– A future-ready infrastructure for high-traffic locations

– The transformation and digitalization of parcel delivery

EMS aims to become the Algerian leader in out-of-home parcel delivery. This new solution will provide fresh momentum to the parcel delivery sector. The company’s objective is to deploy more than 2,000 additional EMS Champion Smartboxunits across the 69 wilayas during 2026 and 2027, in order to remain ever closer to its customers.
