The representative of Algeria, President and Director General of the Express Post Corporation, is elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Express Post Cooperative of the Universal Postal Union:

The representative of Algeria, the President and Director General of the Algerian Express Post Corporation, Mr. Bensi Said Nabil, was elected a member of the Governing Council of the Express Postal Cooperative of the Universal Postal Union.

Where this council is concerned with defining the policies and strategies of the cooperative, as well as its work plan, in addition to setting practical, commercial and technical standards, as well as initiating various recommendations related to the functioning of the express mail service.

Thus, the new composition of the Council, which extends the mandate of its members until the convening of the General Assembly scheduled for 2023, is composed of representatives of Algeria, Russia, the United States of America, France, Singapore, Senegal, the Netherlands, Japan and the Cayman Islands.

It should be noted that the Express Mail Cooperative was established by the Postal Exploitation Council of the Universal Postal Union, to develop and manage express mail services, and is concerned with facilitating cooperation between postal operators affiliated with the Union in order to enable them to provide customers with high-quality services on a global scale.

This, and the cooperative, which includes (175) engaged dealers from different countries, consists of three (03) structures:

– the General Assembly, which is composed of all members,

– The cooperative’s management board, consisting of 09 members,

The cooperative secretariat.
